«LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA'S COMMITMENT TO CLIMATE ACTION |The 18th International Architecture Exhibition, curated by Lesley Lokko, is open from 20 May to 26 November at the Giardini, Arsenale and Forte Marghera»
«La Biennale di Venezia is working concretely towards the crucial goal of fighting climate change, by promoting a more sustainable model for the design, installation and operation of all its events. In 2022 La Biennale obtained this certification for all the events it held that year. This was made possible by carefully collecting the data on the causes of CO2 emissions generated by the events themselves, and on the adoption of consequent measures. The entire process for achieving carbon neutrality, conducted in compliance with the international standard PAS2060, was certified by RINA.
For all the events, the most important component of the overall carbon footprint involves the mobility of the visitors. In this sense, La Biennale will engage again in 2023 in a communication campaign to raise the awareness of the participating public, starting with the 18th International Architecture Exhibition, which will be the first major exhibition in this discipline to test in the field the process to achieve carbon neutrality, while furthermore reflecting upon the themes of decolonisation and decarbonisation». «O tema do
Dia Internacional dos Museus 2023 será Museus,
Sustentabilidade e Bem-Estar.
Em 2023, os objetivos propostos
pelo International Council of Museums – ICOM, responsável pelo Dia
Internacional dos Museus, são:
1–Saúde e Bem-Estar Global: garantir vidas saudáveis
e promover o bem-estar para todos em todas as idades, em especial no que diz
respeito à saúde mental e ao isolamento social.
2–Ação Climática: tomar medidas urgentes para
combater as alterações climáticas e os seus impactos.
3–Vida na Terra: proteger, restaurar e promover
o uso sustentável dos ecossistemas terrestres, sensibilizando para a perda da
biodiversidade.
No próximo dia 18 de maio, o ICOM Portugal incentiva
todos os museus a mostrarem todo o potencial transformador que têm para o
desenvolvimento sustentável e bem-estar.

«TOWARD A NEW UNDERSTANDING OF GOVERNANCE: The 2022 Berggruen Governance Index»
«THE BERGGRUEN GOVERNANCE INDEX PROJECT (BGI) analyzes the relationship between democratic
accountability, state capacity and the provision of public goods. It builds upon prior work that examined
the impact of governance and democracy on the quality of life. It is a collaborative project between the
UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and the Berggruen Institute».

«A representação das partes interessadas no Conselho de Administração materializa uma abordagem de gestão ESG (i.e., que incorpora fatores ambientais, social e de governo) que tem recebido atenção crescente em diversos países europeus. Pretende-se discutir o enquadramento legal vigente, bem como as condições facilitadoras e inibidoras associadas à inclusão de representantes dos colaboradores no processo de decisão da estratégia da empresa.
Para debater este tema, a Direção da Delegação Regional do Centro e Alentejo (DRCA) da Ordem dos Economistas vem pelo presente convidá-la(o) a participar na conferência “Corporate Governance: Representação das partes interessadas no Conselho de Administração”, que terá lugar no dia 3 de maio, em formato híbrido».
